Spectacular view, quality service and local ingredients focusing on the mouth-watering langoustine, caught right in the Hornafjörður's ocean.

Located right outside Höfn in Hornafjörður and offering a panoramic view over the largest glacier in Europe, it is a unique experience to enjoy dinner at Fosshotel Vatnajökul's restaurant. A country restaurant with a fine dining touch, brought by the renowned chef Saevar Karl.

The ingredients come from local farmers and fishermen where the spotlight is on the langoustine, the fjord's most renowned dish but the langoustine fishing industry is creating over 100 jobs in the small town of Höfn. That is what our restaurant is all about.

Please note! Fosshotel Vatnajökull Restaurant is closed temporarily. We kindly suggest Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon which remains open.

Fosshotel Vatnajökul's restaurant is open from 18-21 and bar from 17-23 .The hotel bar is open daily and offers a wide range of beers, wine and cocktails. Happy hour every day from 17-18 on draft beers and House wines.
