Day 1: ARRIVAL IN ICELAND
Arrival in Iceland. If time allows, go for an exploration walk around Reykjavík. Book an optional Northern lights tour at your hotel.
Overnight in Reykjavík in one of our 3-star hotels.
Day 2: GOLDEN CIRCLE
Visit Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot springs before stopping at the historical site of Skálholt. Stay in Fosshotel Hekla or similar. Enjoy dinner at the hotel’s restaurant before going hunting the Northern lights.
Day 3: ÞINGVELLIR
Drive today via Þingvellir National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site before towards the West Icleand. Stay in one our our hotels in West Iceland.
Day 4: BORGARNES
Explore the valley of Borgarfjörður with its waterfalls, hot springs and historic sites. Spend the afternoon in Iceland’s capital and overnight for 2 nights in Reykjavík in one of our 3-star hotels.
Day 5: REYKJANES
Continue your exploration of south Iceland on the Reykjanes Peninsula and stop at the famous Blue Lagoon. The geothermal areas Gunnuhver and Krýsuvík on the peninsula are well worth the visit as well as the picturesque Kleifarvatn lake. You don´t want to miss the chance to cross between the two continents of Europe and North America on the bridge between continents.
Day 6: DEPART FOR HOME
If time allows, go to central Reykjavík to shop for the last souveniers and enjoy a coffee/tea in one of the cities restaurants or cafés.
