Day 1: ARRIVAL IN ICELAND
Arrival in Iceland. If time allows, go for a exploration walk around Reykjavík.
Overnight in Reykjavík in one of our 3-star-hotels.
Day 2: SKAGAFJORÐUR AND GLAUMBÆR TURF FARM
Drive north and stop at Skagafjörður, the valley of horses and home of Glaumbær turf farm. Make a stop at the innumerable hills at Vatnsdalshólar before heading to the hotel.
Overnight for 5 nights in our hotels in North Iceland.
Day 3: HISTORICAL SITES OF TRÖLLASKAGI PENINSULA
Explore the wonders of Tröllaskagi peninsula and get in touch with the history of Iceland. Visit the small, beautiful fishing village of Siglufjörður and the historical sites at Hólar and Hofsós.
Day 4: AKUREYRI AND GOÐAFOSS
Drive through Akureyri, the capital of the north, and go see Goðafoss, the waterfall of the gods. Proceed onwards to the magnificent Lake Mývatn area, renowed for its magical scenery.
Day 5: MÝVATN REGION
Spend the day discovering the magical Mývatn area. The unique landscape surrounding it, makes it a perfect spot for hiking. What better way to relax after the hike than to enjoy the Mývatn natural baths.
Day 6: TJÖRNES PENINSULA AND DETTIFOSS
Drive over to the Tjörnes peninsula and get ready to be impressed by Europes´ most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss, and Ásbyrgi canyon.
Day 7: SETTLEMENT CENTER IN BORGARNES
Head back to Reykjavík but make a pit stop in Borgarnes and visit the popular Saga Settlement Centre.

Day 8: DEPART FOR HOME
If time allows: Enjoy Reykjavík, or explore the Reykjanes Peninsula with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxation.
