OVERVIEW

This tour will provide you with suitable time at Iceland´s major nature spots. Explore dramatic landscape and some of the world’s finest waterfalls like Gullfoss, Skogarfoss and Seljalandsfoss. Visit erupting geysers in the great Geysir hot spring area and pay a visit to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Enjoy Vatnajökull glacier, Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon and many other unique places.

  • Day 1: ARRIVAL IN ICELAND
    Arrival in Iceland. If the times allows go for a walk to explore Reykjavík.
    Overnight in Reykjavík in one of our 3-star-hotels.

  • Day 2GEYSIR HOT SPRING AREA AND GULLFOSS WATERFALL 
    Take the so-'called golden circle route southwards. The route will lead you through Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, the golden waterfall, Gullfoss and the Geysir hot spring area in Haukadalur.
    Spend the night in Fosshotel Hekla or similar.

  • Day 3: ICELANDS SOUTH COAST
    Travel along the southern coast of Iceland on the main road. Stop at the waterfall Seljalandsfoss at the edge of the worlds famous Eyjafjallajökull glacier. It is possible to walk behind the waterfall. Stop further in Vík to take a walk on the endless black sand beach. While driving get impressed with the view to the mighty Vatnajökull glacier.
    Overnight in one of our hotels in Vatnajökull region.

  • Day 4: SKOGARFOSS AND THE FOLK MUSEUM
    Drive along the scenic south coast back to Reykjavík, where you will spend your last night. On your way stop at Skógar and visit the popular folk museum and see the majestic Skógarfoss waterfall.
    Another option is to drive through the highlands of Iceland and experience solitude like you´ve never experienced it before. Make your way to Landmannalaugar where you can bathe in the natural geothermal waters. Please note that this road is 4x4 available only and only open during the summer.
    Overnight in Reykjavík in one of our 3-star-hotels.

  • Day 5: DEPART FOR HOME
    If time allows: Enjoy Reykjavík, or explore the Reykjanes Peninsula with a stop at the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxtion.
