Íslandshótel becomes a main partner of Samtökin ’78 Rainbow family
During Reykjavík Pride, Íslandshótel and Samtökin ’78 signed a three-year partnership agreement, making Íslandshótel a main partner of the Rainbow Family of Samtökin ’78.
The aim of the partnership is to strengthen the work of Samtökin ’78 and support the rights and well-being of LGBTQ+ people in Iceland. The partnership also forms part of Íslandshótel’s commitment to social responsibility and its ongoing sustainability journey.
As a main partner, Íslandshótel will support the work of Samtökin ’78 through both direct financial contributions and services.

The partnership also builds on Íslandshótel’s ongoing journey towards greater diversity and inclusion. Íslandshótel has received the Rainbow certification from Samtökin ’78, and this new partnership represents another important step forward in that journey.
The partnership will also create opportunities for Íslandshótel and Samtökin ’78 to collaborate on events and initiatives throughout the three-year agreement.
