From 1 September 2026, Hilton Reykjavík Nordica will operate under the name Hilton Reykjavík.
Íslandshótel will assume operation of the hotel on 1 September 2026, from which date it will operate as Hilton Reykjavík. The hotel will continue to operate under the Hilton brand, offering first-class accommodation for both domestic and international guests, as well as versatile facilities for meetings, conferences, and events.
Hilton Reykjavík is a well-located four-star hotel in the heart of Reykjavík. It is close to Laugardalur, sports and recreational facilities, and the city centre, the hotel is a popular choice for business travellers, groups, and leisure travellers alike.
The hotel offers 251 comfortable and well-appointed rooms, extensive meeting and conference facilities, a restaurant and bar, as well as fitness and wellness facilities. With its range of accommodation and on-site facilities, the hotel provides a convenient base for both leisure and business stays, whether travelling independently, as a couple or as part of a larger group.
Íslandshótel will assume operation of the hotel on 1 September 2026. Reservations made through Íslandshótel are therefore available for arrivals from that date onwards.

We are working to review and confirm reservations made with the previous operator for arrivals from 1 September 2026 onwards.
Guests should retain their booking confirmation, reservation number, payment receipt and any other documentation relating to the booking. Where a reservation was made through a travel agency, booking platform or another third party, guests should also contact that provider directly.

At this stage, Íslandshótel can confirm individual bookings once the relevant information has been reviewed. To allow us to look into your reservation, please send your booking confirmation, booking reference number, guest name, arrival and departure dates, details of where the booking was made, and copies of any relevant correspondence.
Rates, terms, and booking conditions will be reviewed based on the information available for each reservation. Our aim is to assist guests with confirmed bookings as effectively as possible once the relevant details have been received and reviewed.
New reservations made after Íslandshótel opens bookings may be subject to new rates, terms, and payment conditions.
Changes and cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions that applied when the booking was made. If the reservation was made through Hilton, a travel agency, a booking platform, or another sales channel, you must contact that provider directly.
Hilton Reykjavík will continue to operate under the Hilton brand. Information regarding Hilton Honors, points, benefits, and membership terms is governed by Hilton and will be communicated through the appropriate Hilton channels.
Hilton Honors benefits are subject to Hilton's rules, membership status, and the terms of the individual booking. Guests are encouraged to monitor information from Hilton or contact the appropriate Hilton channels with any questions regarding membership, points, or benefits.

Íslandshótel gift vouchers are valid in accordance with the terms stated at the time of purchase. Bookable stays at Hotel Reykjavík Askja are available from 1 September 2026.
Gift vouchers and credits issued by the previous operator do not automatically become the responsibility of Íslandshótel. Holders of these vouchers should contact the original issuer regarding their validity and applicable terms.
